This year we’ve increased the death grant to £3,500 for serving police officers or police staff.
To claim this grant, let us know the date that the member died by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
When we’ve received a copy of the death certificate, a cheque will be made payable to the nominated beneficiary. Their named beneficiary is recorded on their membership card.
A deceased member is also entitled to a floral reef or a donation of £45 to a nominated charity. So, if you know of anyone who has recently passed away, please contact us.
We also give grants to deceased member’s children. Anyone under 16, or 18 if they are in full time education, will be entitled to £25 per week.
